What the fuck would you even use something like that for? It would take an entire tree just to bring it up to temp and yeah, you really could fit an entire T-Rex in the monster, the smoker is 76 feet long.
Madness.
It probably would take DAYS to get up to temp. I get the idea of "because we can" but sometimes you really do need to step back and think "but should we"? Maybe they were going for a world record (or two).
Largest smoker smoking the most amount of meat at any given time. (I hope they did this near a vegan retreat/resort).
I have no idea what that guy's "hobby" is but you can look up the video on jewtube, I just didn't bother to watch the damn thing since I have better things to do.
Actually, I think I will watch it now simply because I have this weird thing about extreme smoking rigs. I'll probably skip to the end and see if there was any justification for this monstrosity.
I personally can't think of one but maybe he was (as you said) going for the worlds tallest thermometer award.
