I grew up in this area. There's ruins everywhere around Durango; I tell everyone visiting here that they absolutely have to go check out the SW slope of Colorado.

Very cool. I grew up in PA and we used to find occasionally arrowheads. I never even thought of other stuff like pottery and such. Back then it was no big deal and finders keepers. Nowadays, they're much more regulated, I think.
