Did I miss where they described the "lifting machine" as other than a "crane"? I get the rope-grooves and they said the levers were for shoving the brick into a tight friction-fit... but didn't talk about the "lifting device"?

Admittedly, they have a very weak description of this thing ... but it is there. Not really that helpful in picturing it. Why they didn't show it better is a mystery ... but ...
