I think consciousness is more accurate... but, you get the idea either way.
Well, I mean that "awareness" is a tool one can use, or is a technique, not a thing to have or a thing to possess (i.e. not a noun).
To aware is to be cautious, to perceive with caution.
I said conscious because of its roots, con, or "with" and scire, or "knowing".
I know how pedantic this sounds, but words have meaning.

I'm not sure what I'm ready for or not, but I have recently become aware (pun not intended) to the idea that our words are like spells. I realize if we say the subversive be astroturfed from the talmudvision, we allow the spell to take hold. I have this recent idea that one must hone the words they use in order to get closer to truth.
I take it this may be what you mean?
