Not sure if anyone else noticed, but archive.is is down. I haven't been able to access it for over a week.

Every single known alt domain is down as well.

Anyone know what happened? (((They've))) already gona after archive.org and neutered it. DId they threaten the owner of archive.is to shut down?

Same for me, only works with a VPN. I hadn’t used it in awhile but I recently switched to cloudflare dns servers, I may switch them back and see if that works.

You can edit your systems hosts file and add the following to access the site

217.79.181.101 archive.is
217.79.181.101 archive.today
217.79.181.101 archive.vn
217.79.181.101 archive.li
217.79.181.101 archive.fo
217.79.181.101 archive.md
217.79.181.101 archive.ph

Won’t work for mobile unless there’s something I can change in the router. I switched to cloudflare dns because when I’d try to connect to my bank I’d get locked out since they thought it was a vpn or something, I can’t remember what crazy story they told me but changing the name servers worked.

And it’s a major internet provider so I thought the bank was full of it. Why they don’t fix it in their end instead of making people call and change dins servers(which most people don’t know how to do) is beyond me.

I just have to turn off Wi-Fi and use data when I archive or click on an archive link which is a minor pain.
