I remember a post on voat about a software program that could be used to customise every single users experience. It was described as sandboxing users to separate them and control what information they see.

I'm finding the quality of info and dialogue at poal way down on voat...way more disinformation. I don't believe so many goats didn't migrate. I think this is a frog in boiling water culture shift that's being imposed upon us. Is this our little matrix? Look at current events, no way voat shutdown was a coincidence This is our little multicultural infiltration and we are expected to sit as the heat is turned up because we write it off on the change of host..

Then you weren't on voat a lot. There was a lot more disinfo stuff there, usually Q related. It just seems worse here because there are less people submitting other material and the whole election has made some people go a little crazy with their theories.

Telling someone that there was no plan to trust is like telling a redditor that there are only two genders. Their cognitive dissonance and mental gymnastics go into overdrive.

Yes and no. The disinformation was there, but it didn't make it to the top as much. I think the downvote culture here plays a part

you nailed it bc never on Voat would the bs rise to the top. On Voat, I knew that I was disseminating quality "news;" but here on Poal, I've had to retract more than once. It sucks.

I will chime in with another agreement -- too many twitter posts. We need to destroy twitter, not support it.
