I can't think of a good analogy as a small scale example but it would seem like he legally can't allow this? Legally and morally? Also the millitary that knows what happend how can thry just say ok we will be led by a compromised idiot traitor? It would be like you are at work and some one walks in and hands you a fake piece of paper saying you are fired and thry are taking your job. Would you just take the paper walk out and let them have your job?
