I've written about NPC's before on a 4chan poal thread, but I tell you I truly believe that people we consider to be "NPCs" are simply people whose souls are infantile, meaning, these people have not experienced reality for long, or lived enough past lives to gain the wisdom necessary to accept that they can be their true selves, lead their own lives on their own volition, and have their own thoughts and perspectives. I work with "NPCs" and you just have to do a little investigative work to see that glimmer of a soul entrenched in the layer upon layer of clever, yet nefarious psychological warfare that has been tailor-made to cause the most damage. Those like OP's friend get violently upset when exposed to the truth because we have to realize that blasting people with truth is like trying to take the training wheels off a child's bike - it's up to them, the one's learning to ride the bike to take the training wheels off *when they're ready.* No one else can do that for them. It's frustrating, but it takes patience. Push too hard and you lose them forever.
