Your eyes have a biological limit on its resolution power, the ability to distinguish two points as being separate two points. This convergence point is determined by the angle of view, and resolution power of the observer. This is a fact of how vision works and not up for debate.
You could lay down on the beach and watch a boat disappear only to stand up and have the boat come back into view. This is because the waves between you and the base of the boat "converge" into a false single point/ horizon due to the limited resolution afforded by your eyes and due to the angle in which the object is viewed. When you lay down the angle of view makes it so that the false horizon would be closer than if you were to stand up. This is perspective
When you stand up your angle of view changes and so does the distance to the converged "false horizon". This experiment can be done with modern viewing equipment without having to adjust the angle of view to achieve the same result.
The higher the angle of view and the higher the resolution power of the observer, the further away this false horizon will appear. The actual curvature of the Earth can only be observed from heights over 40k. Not that someone as mentally retarded as you would have any idea about how your own eyes work or how straight lines work.
