I am already aware of what you are referring to, the expensive light/laser gyroscope experiment which "proves" that the earth rotates due to the gyroscope supposedly verifying the correct degrees per hour, which I have know way to personally verify since I cannot, myself, access such an instrument.
Right. That is the point I wanted to make.
1) Eric doesn't have a single original claim. 100% of his claims are other peoples claims. Right?
2) If we list all of Erics claims, we are going to just be listing all of the conspiracy theories out there that other people have made. Right?
3) Eric started off with flat earth, when he started making money he kept going with it and then expanded out into other topics. The range of things he talks about now is vast. Right?
4) So, the list of claims Eric talks about will be huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge. Right?
5) So, here is the problem with the conversation that you want to have:
a) You DON'T want to address my ONLY claim. Because you know I'm right. I can tell by the fact that you aren't even trying to tell us why you think Eric Dubay is sane beyond some vague you disagree kind of thing.
That's okay, I am not trying to convince you. I can only share information, it's up to you to do something with it. Or not.
b) What you DO want to do is shift the conversation to me trying to debunk conspiracy claims. Eric is a mentally ill man, I am not going to spend time debunking anything he says.
Instead, let's just move straight to the list of conspiracy claims everyone else makes, all of which have way more credibility than a mentally ill man repeating their hard work.
For every item on this list that I provide an argument, not matter how much evidence / argument / proof I provide, you will eventually always default to "that's not good enough, show me, take me out to space and show me the curvature, go and spend a billion dollars on some gizmoe and prove to me that you are right'.
And when someone actually does spend 20k on an ultra accurate device, someone in your community, that accidentally proves the curvature of the earth, then you ALWAYS default to EXACTLY what you posted above: .... which I have know way to personally verify since I cannot, myself, access such an instrument.
I've had this conversation a hundred times. It's always the same.
You aren't a bad person. You are an idiot.
But that's okay. I still like you.
I also DON'T think you should change your mind if you believe that. The one things that I really hate is the desire that everyone in the scientific community has to force people to accept their truth. I really do think it's okay for you to believe Eric Dubay is not mentally ill but I also think it's okay for me to call you an idiot.
// EDIT: You addressed my claim fairly just as I was writing this. Apologies if this looks like it is out of order.
// EDIT #2: I just wanted to add that watching how the scientific community has handled they CHYNA virus situation, they have almost entirely discredited them selves. We know that at least 50% of all peer reivewed papers cannot be replicated, god only knows what kind of bullshit they are making up. This is why I object to scientists wanting everyone to believe what they believe.
