Has anyone else noticed this? Seems like it crept up on me, but every Wal-mart I've been to in the past few years no longer has a friendly old greeter... usually a semi-retired senior who they give a sense of purpose and reason to leave the house. They actually handed out smiley stickers to kids even.

Now, it's usually teenagers or some middle aged ghetto person sitting on a stool that MUST assume you are stealing goods and then check your receipt on exit. It's really fucking annoying, because I often fold and put the receipt in my pocket with others out of habit. I get stopped and have to play pocket pool in front of a line until I find the right receipt.

There's no greeting at all when I enter, except for the exit guy trying (and failing) to put a mask on me these days. Is this happening in your area? If so, why???

That's half the equation. The other half is laying off many of their staff which used to man cash registers and forcing people to use the self scan isles. It's a lot easier to "be a jogger" at the self scan. They basically laid off a bunch of cashiers and then were forced to hire a few extra security people to compensate.

I'd recommend everyone go to wally world and take a picture of the UPC for some cheap electronics like $1.00 head phones or whatever. Go home and print it a dozen times on sticky labels. Go back and stick these labels over the real UPC on various expensive electronics. Leave them for other customers to enjoy.

And the best part: Everyone is required to wear masks so they have no idea who did it, even with CCTV

Make sure they dont get your plate. You know they keep cctv video for months if not forever

BTW just look up a product and add UPC to search string and there will be a nice clean UPC image on the page.

Came here to say this. The Walmart in my 90%+ white town doesn’t have a receipt checker. Even if I did I would walk right past. This isn’t Costco.

The other ones in nearby nigger town’s absolutely have someone checking at the door.

Because they don't understand might is right. They don't understand that in order to stop the criminal filth you have to be harsh. They think it's all environmental and that we can rehabilitate them and that they just need a hug! A bunch of bleeding heart idiots. Look at what happened to that social justice warrior who tried to help those mentally ill criminals in Seattle. She got her ass killed for her troubles. Evil must be purged! And usually it will be purged by fire and sword.

Maybe to add some "diversity" and also add a "deterrent" for niggers trying to steal shit. Things are getting rough due to diversity so therefore they need stronger folks to detain the filthy niggers.
