Has anyone else noticed this? Seems like it crept up on me, but every Wal-mart I've been to in the past few years no longer has a friendly old greeter... usually a semi-retired senior who they give a sense of purpose and reason to leave the house. They actually handed out smiley stickers to kids even.

Now, it's usually teenagers or some middle aged ghetto person sitting on a stool that MUST assume you are stealing goods and then check your receipt on exit. It's really fucking annoying, because I often fold and put the receipt in my pocket with others out of habit. I get stopped and have to play pocket pool in front of a line until I find the right receipt.

There's no greeting at all when I enter, except for the exit guy trying (and failing) to put a mask on me these days. Is this happening in your area? If so, why???

Seriously, why do people think they have to stop? If I approached you when you were trying to get in your car and asked to see your license would you show it to me? Tell them to fuck off. I've never once had anyone try to seriously stop me. Plus I'm a clean cut, well dressed White Man, so we both know they're just asking me for appearances.
