People look at me like i have to be on a date or something. The answer is no, i just like dressing nicely, because i dont like looking like a slob. With older people, this isnt as bad, but with the newer generations, most look like they walked out of bed and that was it. And women are insane, they look half dressed. That's what hoodies are for.

I like to dress nice daily (jeans and button-down shirt), but I keep a hoodie in my car in case I need to move some lumber or for something unexpected. Just throw it over you before you lift/move stuff and you're good. Also keep some leather mechanics gloves in your car for tire changes.
