In the vets waiting room with my dog, woman at the counter has a large well behaved black dog on a leash at her side. At one point a masked up couple holding a little dog turn to speak to her. As soon as the large dog saw the man he growled and woofed. He was freaked at the black mask the moron was wearing. Mind you, Vet not requiring masks. None of the staff is masked up. But dodo head has to wear a mask and scare animals?

People are insane.

This is because dogs use visual cues to understand their environment. If someone looks angry, then doggo angry. If person looks non threatening, doggo is happy. However, the mask completely removes the element of the dog being able to understand its environment. I've had my own dog be confused and overly excited by who i am, due to me wearing a mask.

So do humans. And in fact, this is something very young babies and children learn as part of their development. This is why a baby is supposed to see its mother's face and expressions. So who knows what effect this will have on babies and children whose parents are too stupid to take their masks off at home.

I remember reading about some research that showed that when you could not see a person's mouth it was more difficult to determine their emotional state, and people were perceived as more aggressive than they actually were. For example someone smiling would be seen a aggressive if you could only see the eyes.

This was pre COVID, so it's now buried in a shit pile of mask propaganda and I haven't been able to find it again.

This shit will definitely fuck up a lot of kids. My son is almost 3, and he looks confused at all the mask wearing. Luckily (no luck involved) I'm not in the city so there much less of it.

Out of everyone, my dog fared worsed. She's a highly neurotic border collie who loved going to farmers markets to get patted by people. Then they shut down the markets and when they returned everyone was wearing masks. She was so confused.

Exactly, I'm actually freaked out by masked people because I grew up abused and having to read facial expressions to know when to hide. I go into a store and people talk to me who are masked and I can't read them and it's like talking to a computer. I can't stand it.

Dogs are evolved to pay attention to human's facial expressions. No other animal does this. Covering your face confuses the hell out of them.

My dogs hate it when we see people with masks. It doesn't happen that often but when we do, they go low and growl.

Some large Pet Birds do not even like sunglasses, and certainly not hats or masks. Bonding is very specific.

Large Pet fish seem to recognize owners voice and body shape though.

My previous dog , on rare occasions in public , frantically barked at all niggers ever seen , even far away niggers. he was " A GOOD BOY ! Yes he is! Whos a Good Boy! "

If my Husky/Sheppard barks at a nigger, instantly one treat. If the nigger runs because it is scared and we both immediately know he/she is guilty of something, two treats.

He is a good boy I named Rommel.

We just adopted a Doberman puppy and named him Stu, short for Student named after the honorable hero Kurt Student.

In USA tons of dogs growl and snarl upon seeing black people. Its instinctive for many. There are even drama movies that try to blame white owners for their "racist dogs"! i am not kidding.

Here is one drama entirely based on a "racist dog" :

In South Africa they have a breed of dogs called Boerbull's that attack niggers on sight.

*Without ANY training!!!

It almost seems as if those South Africa dogs instinctively know that niggers are a natural threat and a plague to society.

These big "good boys" see a nigger gardener in distance ! Look at how the Boerboel dogs ignore the immediately close White cameraman and focus their barks at the savage nigger Rape Ape in distance :

A couple weeks back I was wearing a respirator while doing some work in my garage. I came inside and our two dogs immediately started freaking out. One was barking while backing away and the other was growling and challenging me.

Guess which one got a treat?

I took the mask off and they calmed down. I tried it again a week later and didn't get a reaction.

Animals look at me different when I wear a hat or glasses or anything really. Obviously they do.
