If Israel invades anywhere without first guaranteeing that the US will bail them out (as we always do) they're idiots. The IDF has less than 200,000 active duty troops and maybe 500,000 active reserves. If they move any significant portion of them east into Palestine the Lebanese, Jordanians, and Egyptians will roll across their respective borders en masse.
You're probably right. However, they could invade a much smaller area of Palestine without having other Arab nations invade, slowly but surely grabbing up territory. Maybe they'll come up with some crap about how there were a large number of Hamas operatives in a certain area and use that as justification.
The deeper they go into Palestine the more surrounded they'll be by angry (angrier) Palestinians.

I disagree, but not completely. I think they'll use them if they have to but not at the drop of a hat.
