Are you sure you aren't conflating "dumb" with "is not an expert in the particular historical / political silo" ?

Let's be honest, we aren't exactly must see tv here. What we discuss is not only boring and esoteric, the amount of information that you need to absorb before it starts to click is at least equal to 2 years of university.

Agreed, the amount of information i have gained since all this started blows what I walked away from highschool with out of the water. Trying to talk to normies now feels like the volunteer job I used to do (helping take care of mentally ill people)

yeah dumb to not realize they aren’t experts and then go try and look into stuff rather than just trusting the TV

no what I mean is if you have someone you know who is putting hours upon hours of research into a topic, you should trust that person if that person is someone you know to not be maliciously motivated in their actions towards you

trusting a dumb "family member" who is worried about what the vax will do to you seems more logical then trusting the news who says "it's fine" but doesn't give a shit about you if you live or die
