False. The bible says the Israelites are the chosen people. Jews, proven edomites and canaanites, claim they are Israelites.

Gods chosen people are the descendants of Abraham, (which also includes most Arabs) who ALSO keep Gods commandments as found in Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy, and who accept the Son of God as their High Priest (mediator). Anyone can be adopted pr "grafted in".

Modern jews are not hebrews nor Israelites
They were chosen. What were they chosen to do? To bring the Incarnation of God to earth.
That happened and some of the Hebrews rejected Him and became Jews while others followed Him and became Christians. It's no coincidence that the temple and all tribal records were destroyed not long after.
