There are some implications that Lord Renley and Ser Loras were involved in a homosexual relationship, but I had read it more as a really strong bond between friends which only a few people gossiped about being fags. Then I saw the show. Not only did they make it abundantly clear that these two were fags, but what they did to Ser Loras Tyrell was atrocious. In the novel, Ser Loras is written as an absolutely ferocious badass- he fucking killed the two highly trained/experienced knights who were assigned to guard Renley for not preventing his assassination. He's nothing but an awesome symbol of manliness in the book... but then in the show, they turn him into a literal limp-wristed faggot. His mannerisms, speech, and behavior are all typical obnoxious modern faggotry, and I hated it. Of course, the showrunners for Game of Thrones are a pair of kikes who got their jobs through nepotism: David Benioff is the son of a mega-kike banker, so he projects all of his daddy issues onto Tywin Lannister, it's actually pretty wild if you look into him. He's also obsessed with "racially ambiguous" women, and he is constantly writing his characters as self-inserts. DB Weiss is also a scummy kike, but he's nowhere near the kind of psychopathic hack that Benioff is.
