Working for someone else is a disgusting thing to do. Maybe more people are realizing this and taking a responsibility for their prosperity and progress. Automation and innovative digital technology fixes a lot of lack of employment issues. We don't really need minimum wage jobs anymore (we never needed a minimum wage, frankly). Maybe everyone "getting lazy" and not working more and more is a good thing. If people have more leisure time, we have more time for innovation, emergence of genius and pursuit of arts, all of which further human progress.
Does anyone make minimum wage anymore? I live in a rural area with depressed wages and high school kids start off at $15 an hour in the trades. Store clerks might start off at a little less. Plenty of people earning $40-$60,000 a year in their early 20s with no high school diploma.More than the public school teachers make.
That's odd. There's a good bit around where I'm at. It's not uncommon in most places, I don't think.
If those innovations, emergences of genius and pursuits of arts are able to replace fiat for sating female hypergamy, your idea would work.
We already see some spicy memes coming out of Japanese NEET guys.
Demoralization impedes these pursuits. Besides, automation and said digital innovations have yet to metastasize.
How was demoralization resisted in the past? Is it now?
Most people are not hidden geniuses and artists. Without a job, most will watch TV all day, and smoke even more weed.

That's nice.
