Hoax in that this is merely a modified version of the common cold/flu. It's either taken over, replaced, or merged with said illness in any case. The hoax part is everything surrounding that, vastly over-representing it's deadliness to anyone under 80. The not-a-hoax part is in deliberately infecting the eldest and most vulnerable to the cold *with* this new cold while also deliberately withholding medical and hospice care. And inviting shitskins to come in and beat/rob/rape said elderly while they're at it.
