No, I'm serious. I think back on my life and I traveled cross country many times by car both by myself, with the wife, and the wife and kids. I had a paper map, and if I got a flat tire, I fixed it. I planned my own route and found a motel or diner when I needed one. Today I see grown men chatting constantly on the phone ... hell even your bosses call and ask you to do things when your on vacation or home for the weekend ... things that were simply unheard of even as little as ten years ago. Now guys talk about texting and emoji's - LOL - laughable things for a man to discuss not long ago ... even the comedians saw such things as effeminate. Anyway, it just struck me how men have devolved into wimps. But hey, that's just the humble opinion of someone growing old and no longer a strong fearless man myself anymore. Yet we once were ...
I'm strong, I'm not fearless I just don't let people see when I am afraid, I believe they used to call that courage and I don't see a lot of that anymore. People ask me aren't you afraid of what will happen if you piss off the wrong people with what your doing? Fuck yeah I'm afraid, but I'm more afraid of what happens to my kids if no one does something.
Silicon in more ways than one! I have actually driven across the country with a map and fixed a flat tire, hell I fixed one the other day at 7am after loading the wife and kids into the car to drop me off at work, only to find the tire flat, did I freak out, or call tripple a? Fuck no, its a flat tire, I got out an air compressor aired that fucker up and put slime into it. There are still men out there, just far far fewer but they are out there and they are starting to get fed fucking up with the bullshit. When enough of them do they will be a force to be reckoned with.
Yes, there are still good men who stand up for what's right and can still do what was always expected of men ... no denying that. It just seems to be a dying club. This is more or less just one of my pet peeves. It's kinda hard to explain, but when I see all this anti-bullying ... boys can't be boys stuff on a daily basis, I'm fearful for the future of men. You can't become a man without a little suffering. Women don't get that, and have begun to retool the world so they all are somehow protected from everything, I think.
Well like I said it isn't going to last, it can't a world without suffering and growing(we only grow when we are struggling) is not sustainable. Men will rise back up and take back the world its already begun. Just look around you, yeah the MSM shows you all the bullshit, but the men are starting to talk to each other we are finding communities(like these). The pendulum swings back and forth and probably always will however with the knowledge gained from this current swing to the left somehow I'm going to guess that will slow the swing back left significantly.
I'm still working on learning how to read a map.
I'm one of those that needs the GPS to find stuff. I actually know how to use it. Some can't even figure out some of its basic features
