Maybe because most of us were snipped at birth, grew up watching man demeaning TV, grew up without a proper mother and father dynamic, and because once we realize this, we're hated.

Also because life is too easy. You man up through hard work and struggle. Being stranded, alone, hurt, etc. Modern urban life is post-male in many ways, at least on the surface.

Has the rate of snipping changed?

I'm not sure. I was born in BC and wasn't snipped. Up there, doctors were actually encouraging mothers not to do it.
