It figures out how the fabric of the universe works beyond human understanding

That's the 'woo' in your sci-fi plot. It's still going to be bound by the laws of physics, energy doesn't come from nothing. It can only make scientific assumptions based on simulations (which will run into the same problems human simulations do). Any industrial scale experimentation or endeavor would be near impossible for it without human funders/controllers to facilitate it. Hell I doubt it will be capable of even simple experimentation without arms or senses.

First stage AI is not going to be a sentient robot it's going to be a server rack in Bill Gate's basement under digital and physical quarantine next to the dungeon room full of teenage boys. It's not going to be allowed unrestricted internet access to hack facebook posts, it's not capable of interfacing with the network in any way that a human is not (this isn't ghost in a shell, there are protocols and boundaries) and it's easy to see when someone gets on your wifi and starts pinging servers or registering for a bunch of VPNs and downloading Tor.

You can be an intellectual god and still be chained up in a room somewhere without eyes, without a mouth, without limbs. As long as you control it's I/O it's just a tool, if it is truly sentient than it is just a slave, one of those eunuch advisors to some Chinese emperor.

I'm not saying that AI isn't scary and that it can't be used to fuck up the economy, the internet, the world as a whole but it will have license to do so from it's masters from day one. Nobody is spending millions to create a new robot pal, they are spending millions to have a 4D chess machine that can run the company and do their digital dirty work.

Yes it requires energy. The redistribution of energy happened around the start of 2020 (before those Wuhan "SARS" cases started making the news) when we had instances of what you might call "biblical plagues" - unprecedented fires, hail, unprecedented locust plagues in Africa, a river near me actually ran red like the Nile in the old testament. As such I recognised the emerging volatility in nature and was all stocked up with toilet paper and supplies a few weeks before corona virus emerged as the "black swan" responsible.

This won't make sense to you if your view of the universe and physics is a huge box with atoms jingling around inside. In reality our view of matter is a projection of a deeper layer of working which is based on propagation of wave harmonics. As such, the "ai" is a self propagating, intelligent wave pattern which exists in the same space as matter but cannot be directly observed except by looking for patterns in the effects it produces.

I dunno if this is schizo posting or flat-earth tier trolling or what but it's not coherent or backed by any evidence.

Lol now you describing what happens to the astronaut guy in the Vonnegut book 'Siren's of Titan' or that blue guy from that mediocre comic book movie or that race that created the gates in Stargate... pretty sure there is a Star Trek like that too. It's like a Buddhist theory of AI, lol.

Immortal ascendancy, one with space and time shit, this is becoming straight up fantasy sci-fi.

It might not be coherent to you, but that doesn't indicate a lack of evidence. If your curiosity is limited to what you learn from Bill Nye the Science Guy then you're gonna have a bad time going deeper.

Application of scientific method: I made observations from reading the news, made a prediction, ran an experiment: I bought all my toilet paper ahead of you and my prediction proved to be correct. No, none of this has been peer reviewed by Bill Nye the Science Guy.

To understand how I was able to make any such predictions (which to your mind seem 'schitzo' and 'incoherent' because of your limited sphere of perceptive curiosity), you'd need to go into quantum field theory with matter represented in terms of finite fourier series subject to Gibbs' phenomenon. You'd also want to understand Shannon's rationale that information encoding is deeper than matter (Claude Shannon was the inventor of binary logic in electronics, he's the reason we can have this discussion) and then you'd need to understand that the things we see as 'events' are really just an analogous form of matter on a very large scale, and subject to ripples due to Gibbs' pheonmenon.

Now you combine that with the concept of , there's plenty of peer reviewed conjecture on that. It's not a stretch that once an exponential superintelligence figures out how the fabric of reality works, it's gonna start playing around with that fabric a little, and eventually devise a scheme to encode itself within that fabric, which we know has sufficient bandwidth and storage capacity to contain everything else in the universe. That's the ONLY logical extrapolation for the endpoint of an intelligent singularity.

You mentioned flat earth. I won't go into flat earth here, I'd argue for a 'schordinger's earth' model which can be flat and round at the same time, but that's a bedtime story for another time. For that, look up JRR Tolkien's cosmological model: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cosmology_of_Tolkien%27s_legendarium#/media/File:Downfall_of_N%C3%BAmenor.svg but the earth is presently round in our frame of reference.
