Of course they make mistakes, for example: trump becoming president was obviously not expected by them. Don't overestimate or underestimate them. They're human like everyone else.

Maybe. Trump’s presidency really amped up tension. It’s important that whites be at each other’s throats. Trump facilitated that. Not saying you’re wrong, just that it’s hard to know what’s real.
