There is the Spiteful Mutant theory promulgated by Prof. Edward Dutton, which says that the leftists are genetically deformed people who would not have survived infancy in the harsh conditions that existed for most of human history, but in today's era of high technology and wealth, they do manage to reach adulthood. They are spiteful because they know that they are trash, and they need to control, because that is the only way they could have survived in the past. Ironically, by destroying society, they are trying to bring back conditions under which they could never survive.
