I remember Rush Limbaugh once talking about the people around him as he bootstrapped his radio carrier. Lots of advice on career moves from people who never did anything themselves. I'm sure many of them were still thinking to themselves how much better of a job they'd do, if it were them instead of Rush through his entire career. Now, these kinds of people are being granted authorities so they can force their great wisdom on the rest of us --- the same kind of people who would fall flat on their face in any kind of open market.
