I've got a vertical mill and a lathe in my workshop
I hate you.
I want a mill. And a lathe.
And a workshop.
Look around for deals I spent all my government helicopter money and all my extra cash from my day job on stuff to put me in position to be able to tell them to fuck off because i saw all this coming. Bought a new house in the country on a bunch of land and then bought equipment that i can make money under the table with.
Hoping to move soon. Garage is a must, I'm just impatient.
Stupid me spent all my stimuluses on guns which I promptly lost in a winter canoeing accident.
Guns arent a bad investment but its important to hedge your bets food, clothing, shelter and tools are always wise to diversify into. Soon as I finish selling my house in the city I'm dumping whatever money I make into a 25kw wood gasifier cogen plant to run the homestead on. 1 ton of wood chips cost 24$ and will produce one megawatt of power which will run a couple houses for a few weeks.

You can run a lathe or a mill in your apartment or even just the room you rent from some stranger who needs the money. It involves cheap plastic tarps to contain the debris, old wash towels sewn into wooden frames to contain the noise, a vacuum cleaner to clean up, and a can do attitude.
