I used to enjoy flying (apart from dumb TSA), but the new ritual is a bridge too far for me. Unless I have to (someone close to me would have to be on the brink of death and too far for me to drive to visit…), I will not fly again until they drop this nonsense. Not to mention I have a kid they would dare to mask too. Neither my kid nor I have ever worn a mask. I’m not about to start just for a “nice vacation”. Unfortunately my husband has been coerced in the past for his job, so he’s not been able to draw the line as far back as I can.

I have to put on that fear mask at work , which is why I try not to be within 15 feet of anyone as much as possible so I can feel normal and not like a character in a dystopian horror film. The NY Governor is saying unvaxxed people must wear a mask at work. The departing, Commie Mayor of NYC is saying that we must vax by the 27th or lose our jobs. It's a shit show, either way. I've been looking at affordable 2BR condos in NJ all morning.

I've got cucked in laws that think NY is great. But they are rich and have the big house in Connecticut and a multi-million dollar apartment in Manhattan that they only visit occasionally. I just flew again yesterday. It says on the announcement that if you don’t wear masks there will be civil penalties and that it’s a preferable law”. Which is all bullshit threatening lie I believe. I haven’t seen any law pass yet that says that. One was introduced in NY (of course) but hasn’t passed senate yet as far as I know.
