Quality post! One thing I'll add that is speculation: Putin decided to attack in the last week or so because of how weak our leadership has become. After Trudeau showed he has no respect for peaceful protest, property rights, or body autonomy; it becomes hard for Canada or the countries that support it (US, UK, etc) to wage any war based on "muh democracy". Combine that with the general disarray and unhappiness within our armed forces about the vax mandate and all the exemptions being rejected. There will be a false flag or some other b.s. in attempt to rally our countries behind our corrupt leadership, and it will likely work as it has worked before. Until then, the west was as weak a Putin has even seen, and he took advantage of that window while it was available.
