There's something about flatearth that triggers some sort of past trauma it seems, it never fails to deliver, and it seems it's specific to the US, flatearth has barely any traction in western europe for instance last time I checked

I've never seen a flat earther IRL, but I have seen and debated with Young Earth Creationists, and they are just as retarded. They have to believe every word of the Bible is true and scientific, so they explain how yes there really are underground oceans that can flood the whole earth like in Genesis, and they alternate between dinosaurs were real and coexisted with man (they were dragons!) or dinosaurs were put here by the devil to trick you. The Baptist revival really messed with Americans' heads.
Yeah, I think it is directly tied to that.
