It's a more recent thing, a viral 4chan meme "space futurism is fake and gay" essentially pointed out how fiction set in the future is used to manipulate people by presuming who is just, virtuous, victorious and who will be responsible for future atrocities and disasters. The meme got traction and went viral and then an edited version removing most of the good points and replacing them with spurious claims about space that might stick in the mind of an ignorant public was spammed for months across 4chan and other image boards it even showed up on here I think. I've never seem a viral meme get supplanted by a forced meme so hard. Whoever forced the space is fake meme and shut down the original seems to like the X is fake strategy, their new one is "Islam is fake" they don't mean false belief, they mean it's smoke and mirrors. It's meant to be an outlandish antisemitic conspiracy theory. It claims basically what assatru black sun pushing wotan tards claim about Christianity that all abrahamic religions are a ruse by jews to take over the world. You can see how the "islam is fake" shit would meet the design goals of interlopers attempting sow discord and confusion.
