They absolutely are. Hell, half of the famous mob bosses we hear about were jews or marrying jews. But that just reinforces my point: the scam is for the other suckers. Not for them. No mob boss would tolerate his daughter with a schwartze.

If you don't believe me, just listen to the stuff Maxwell and co were saying to their honeypots. They were not like the coal burning Hollywood types.
