Ackshually... that applies to us all. (((They))) love how the TV normalizes things because us watching is as if that's how things are. I read a while back that TV in some foreign country (India? Iran?) was instrumental to woman's "liberation" since they saw feminist women on TV and started to demand it. Shitty search engines are failing me so maybe someone else can post proper citations.
