I just had this thought after reading about micro-plastics. Rubber is not biodegradable and tires must spew a bunch of that onto the streets, into the air, water, etc. The level of rubber micro-plastic in any country must be immeasurably vast considering how many cars are now on the road at any given moment and how fast tires wear out.

Am I missing something or is this really fucking bad? Why have I never heard anyone talk about this?
