I agree, in terms of the question, it is who else would we have liked? People saying shit like David Duke is silly. There isn't any reality where that is going to happen.

He could have gone full redemption+alpha and put RFK to both redeem himself on the vax issue and open up the can of worms of the Secret Service, CIA and similars. RFK is less useful than Bowman, but symbolizes much more.

I put RFK in the same basket as Tulsi Gabbard. We can agree with them on some points but at their core they are still left leaning democrats. That is not the direction we want the party to move.

The right likes those two because compared to the average democrat they appear sane and rational. It makes it easy to forget a lot of what they stand for is not in our best interests. So I'll take their endorsements if they want to give them, but we should not be putting them in leadership roles.
