Asians especially in the south don't have the same diet. It's mostly composed of rice, seafood and green veggies. If they cannot produce enough milk, they will use a surrogate mother who can breastfeed the child, or simply use formula. Back before formula was affordable/available in Asia, they would use a mix of cooked milk, soy milk, egg yolks, vitamins...
How would the surrogate have a different diet if both are from the same country, in your own logic?

Breastfeeding is not related to diet that way. The woman will shrivel and thin up but will still produce milk as long as she is willing to let the baby suck milk. Asians are not as likely to breastfeed due to their culture.

There's a tea called mother's milk, it has herbs that help milk production in some women. The one I remember is fenugreek. It doesn't work for my wife, but oatmeal does.
