A job back we had an online store that had a guest checkout option and they had to insert some "dummy data" like Joe Schlomo as a fake name and 999-999-9999 for account number to make the database play nice so a transaction would go through. Referrers were also a pain to deal with with access issues, especially if was one system transferring the transaction to another system to complete payment.
nah bro just set everything to 777 and be done with it. What could go wrong?
Say what?
777 - linux permissions for anyone and everyone.
