I used to think that the actors/actresses in TV and movies weren't actually consuming anything. Such as food, drink, cigarettes, etc. I thought it was all fake. I don't know why I thought that. It is all fake, but not necessarily that part.

I thought a rattail made me look cool.

Mildly unrelated: in late 1999 there was an ice cream flavor called Y2CAKE. Just kinda stuck with me even though I don't care for flavors like that.
