I used to think that the actors/actresses in TV and movies weren't actually consuming anything. Such as food, drink, cigarettes, etc. I thought it was all fake. I don't know why I thought that. It is all fake, but not necessarily that part.

I had a somewhat similar belief, it was that grown-ups were wiser and knew what they were doing. Now that I'm in my late 30's, I can see how utterly wrong I was, especially in a post-covid world.
