There is nothing wrong with catch and release fishing. Most fish taste too much like fish and are gross. I prefer to fish smaller lakes but now days everyone thinks they need the biggest baddest bass boat on the water. They can't launch their pontoons or 80HP bass boats on smaller lakes so they hardly get fished. The decrease in fishing pressure allows swans and geese to take over the lake and soon after every fish in the lake has parasites. I'll gladly catch them, but I won't eat them.
