What I genuinely remember from school (older than 5 but still) was kids would question the 6 garizillion number. And they would say, "Well that's not 6 majillion jews being gased, that is everyone all togther including gypsies, prisoners of war, etc and includes not executed but died from hunger and stuff." Now days its 6 zambillion jews in roller costers or you aren't allowed to have a bank account.
