The honest answer is saying Kanye did more for whites than anyone is of course absurd. But aspects of your answer are correct.
Most people do not have their views changed by logical arguments or facts, but by culture and repetition. Millions of people who otherwise would not get anywhere near it have listened to Heil Hitler out of curiosity because Kanye is a mainstream famous guy, who used to have all his stuff played everywhere before saying one thing - jews bad. Everything else was fine. Literally everything else.
Then you have semi-mainstream guys like Rogan notice that and talk about it on air, and say that sort of supports what Kanye is saying.

That in and of itself isn't going to change the world. It will, however, likely get some people to look a little further into things. Some of that subset (even if a small portion) might open their eyes.
Now you need a lot more of that to make a dent. But now one guy with real reach has said it in public. We shall see if anyone else is willing to follow. But being the first is something.
So "more for whites than anyone?" Of course not.
But it's a something.
