You should already be looking for a new job.
Been looking after a month here, goodnews is maybe found something finally
Good luck man, just don't burn any bridges, don't give anyone the power to blackball you in your industry.
Def put up with more than I should have for situations like work. If your job totally sucks but there isn't a better option immediately available you quietly look elsewhere but tolerate until one materializes. I'm not in the camp of burn down your finances on principle. I'd like to be, but not rich enough.
I'll give you another scenario I desk with all the time. My ex wife just breaks out custody arrangement all the time. Things like late dropping him off, not sending me school updates, missing his scheduled phone time. Happens just all the time and she def does it on purpose just to be a B.
The thing is the way our state works for reopening a hearing she can automatically ask for a child support update of its opened for any other reason, but hard for her to without showing cause on its own. I make a lot more than when we got divorced. Rates have gone way up just because of inflation. Etc.
I could take her to court and have the aspects she breaks all the time, and win no problem to have it enforced. But what would I win? She'd get dressed down by the judge, maybe threatened that "if she doesn't stop something will happen mkay," but they're not going to just hand me door custody and point everything else. And then she'd ask for child support update and I'd pay way more every month. I'd "win" and it would cost me 10-15 grand a year. Do I want the B to stop doing those things? Of course. Do I deserve her to do? Of course. But I can't eat that much to make it happen.
Sometimes you just get ehffed, and you have to take the b.s. Life sucks.
all that above
Glad I'm moved on, those are rough. Nothing is easy in such time... Nowadays just gotta find something to keep the bills happy. You definitely deserve a drink or hat tip or whatever keeps a boat a float nowadays.
