That is the problem with things like plastic, seed oils, wifi radiation, sunscreen chemicals, and other health concerns that only seem to worry the fringe. There's no sense of scale for how bad each is because nobody is trying to look into it. Maybe it's actually completely fine, and the health benefits of coffee completely outweigh the negatives of the brewing machine. But think about it. It's plastic, it comes into contact with a mildly acidic, hot liquid, most people keep them for years without a need to replace them, and you use it every day. Doesn't seem like a good bet. Mr. Coffee certainly doesn't care either way.
