My phone's manual says not to keep it in the pocket or anywhere that's closer than 1.5 inches to the body when it's powered on due to the radiation it emits.
I would bump this twice if I could.

You're constantly bombarded by radio waves from the towers, the phone seems irrelevant. Also its good to be able to recieve time-sensitive information via the phone in real time.

Your phone can expose you to a lot more than a tower. It's a lower power transmitter but closer so it's more concentrated.
Well I've had my current phone for 8 years and I haven't noticed any problems. Its good to be concerned and skeptical of things, but no mortal being has the time, energy, or mental fortitude to worry about everything.
I'll take my chances with the radio waves in order to receive information in real time.
This is why the fear-mongering that is common around things like this is counter-productive. I take a harm-reduction approach. Don't hold next to my head for a long time (use speakerphone if talking a long time on phone). If storing in pocket keep to side of body at hips, away from vital organs. Turn airplane mode on at home. These go a long way to reduce whatever risk there is (doubling distance drops power by 75%).
Experienced poal users add their own Fuck You!. Just to be sure. Have to remember that this workflow has been automated for next time.
I just dont carry the thing more than half the time.
That feeling is you not paying one of the jew taxes.
