Looking for remote work

I am looking to make some money from home. I have applied for positions on online job sites such as Indeed as well as company sites yet nobody seems to want me. Am I doing something wrong? Am I doomed for not having connections?

I have little work experience and I am still recovering from the traumatic experiences of my last jobs. I need to put my potato brain to use again.

Look for a recruiter/company that specifically works with people wanting to work remote. Company websites are OK but a lot of them are going to demand on-site unless you are looking at remote-first or remote-only companies like GitLAB.

You can also check out job board sites like https://dailyremote.com/

Depending on your skill set you should also consider contracting companies since if they like you enough they can place you in jobs that are specifically for remote only work.
