I am looking to make some money from home. I have applied for positions on online job sites such as Indeed as well as company sites yet nobody seems to want me. Am I doing something wrong? Am I doomed for not having connections?

I have little work experience and I am still recovering from the traumatic experiences of my last jobs. I need to put my potato brain to use again.

Edit: i guess im screwed

Change your name to Shaniqua Jackson, use a tranny nigger profile pic, and practice your ebonics.

Seriously though, network. Use (((linkedin))) and "contact us" pages on websites to talk to the sales people at all of the competitors in an industry you want to break into, and make relationships. Sales people love to talk and the good ones know each other at different companies. That's how you eventually get a job if you don't already know people and skip the bullshit. Write out bullet points of what you are trying to accomplish and have an outline for every conversation in advance, and keep notes or use an AI notetaker. You can frame it as an "informational interview" or that you are simply interested in learning more about the business, because you think you might be able to refer clients, etc. Make sure there's something interesting for them. Aim for at least three meetings a day, more is better. Make it a full time job.

If you do have to go the HR route, by the time you have your "interview", you'll know more about the company and industry than the person interviewing you.
