For some reason, I never connected the fact that 'solar' refers to something specific to our star 'sol'.
Technically, some cosmic anomalies are not solar phenomenons. A gamma ray burst from some random star for example.. A probe that is propelled by a sail, stops being a solar sail once it reaches another star system's influence.
