You are ascribing everything others know about the universe to divinity. Food, the food god, sky the sky god, water the water god, language the language god, but under monotheism there is one all-knowing powerful god that does it all.
We now understand, physics, chemistry, geography, geoscience (geology, oceanography, meteorology, and astronomy), biochemistry., microbiology, botany, zoology, etc.

A theory is a well-substantiated explanation of an aspect of the natural world that can incorporate laws, hypotheses and facts. A hypothesis is an educated guess. A theory is a result of a scientifically rigorous process with peer review and cross-examination, it is substatiative and widely perceived the be true by almost everyone with IQ above room temperature.
