I mean this is just the laziest low tier form of atheism. “Good morals” are not universal. They vary from society to society because of the unique environments each society evolves to exploit. Your ancestors lived in cold harsh climates as hunter gatherers and then later as agriculturalists. Those conditions favored “K-strategy” risk averse modes of behavior: planning ahead, big brains, monogamy. Monogamy itself has a whole set of downstream behavioral results as a consequence of limiting high status males to a single female. Lower violence. Less disparity of wealth. Our brains are religious machines. We dont process the world rationally. Theres ZERO reason to think that your brain processes reality more rationally than a christian.
